Follow the exact film manufacturer's care instructions. Allow the stated period before washing, clean regularly with approved products and soft media, remove contaminants promptly, and avoid directing high-pressure water at edges. Matte, satin and gloss films do not always accept the same waxes, polishes or cleaners.

“pH neutral” is not a complete compatibility test. Solvents, petroleum distillates, strong degreasers and abrasive additives can affect the film — test any unlisted product in an inconspicuous place first.
Gloss film can show swirls and may accept specific non-abrasive protection products. Satin and matte films can develop uneven shine or staining if unsuitable waxes or polishes fill or burnish the texture. Fingerprints are often more visible on these finishes. Use finish-specific care rather than one generic spray wax recommendation.
Bird contamination, insects, tree sap, fuel and road chemicals can stain or degrade wrap film. Use a manufacturer-approved method and do not scrape with blades. If a stronger cleaner is necessary, check compatibility before applying it across the trim.
