TAD Auto Detail ("we", "us", or "our") is a mobile vehicle detailing specialist based in Wembley, North West London. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.

Terms & Conditions

1 Acceptance of Terms

By contacting TAD Auto Detail, submitting a booking enquiry, or engaging our services, you ("the Customer") agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must not proceed with booking or using our services.

2 About Our Services

TAD Auto Detail is a fully mobile vehicle detailing specialist operating in Wembley, North West London and within a 5-mile radius. Our services include:

All services are performed on-site at the Customer's chosen location. Our standard service area covers Wembley, Alperton, Harrow, Willesden, Greenford, Ealing, Neasden, Sudbury, and Perivale. Bookings outside this radius may be accommodated at our discretion.

3 Booking and Appointments

3.1 Enquiry and Confirmation. All bookings are initiated via our contact form, WhatsApp, or email. A booking is only confirmed once TAD Auto Detail has acknowledged it in writing (via WhatsApp or email).

3.2 Accurate Information. The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including the vehicle's make, model, condition, and service location. Inaccurate information may result in a revised quote or inability to complete the service on the day.

3.3 Power Supply Requirement. For certain services, we require access to a standard electrical outlet or power source within 50 metres of the vehicle. Failure to provide this may result in the appointment being rescheduled and may incur a call-out fee.

3.4 Safe Working Conditions. The Customer must ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe, accessible, and legal location that allows us to perform the service without obstruction.

3.5 Environmental Conditions. Services such as PPF application, tinting, and vinyl wrapping require specific environmental conditions. TAD Auto Detail reserves the right to reschedule at short notice if weather conditions (rain, high winds, extreme temperatures, or excessive dust) prevent us from safely meeting our workmanship standards. No cancellation fee will apply in such cases, and a priority reschedule date will be offered.

4 Pricing and Quotes

4.1 Starting Prices. All prices advertised are starting prices and are subject to change based on the vehicle's make, model, size, condition, and specific components included.

4.2 Quotes. Any quote provided prior to the appointment is an estimate. TAD Auto Detail reserves the right to revise the quoted price upon visual inspection if the actual condition or scope of work differs materially from what was described.

4.3 No Hidden Fees. There are no hidden call-out fees within our standard service area. Any applicable travel surcharges for locations outside our standard radius will be communicated before booking confirmation.

5 Payment

5.1 Payment Terms. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the appointment.

5.2 Accepted Methods. We accept cash, bank transfer (BACS), Apple Pay, and Android Pay via Revolut. Payment must be cleared before the technician leaves the site.

5.3 Non-Payment. In the event of non-payment, TAD Auto Detail reserves the right to pursue recovery of the outstanding amount through appropriate legal channels.

6 Cancellations and Rescheduling

6.1 Customer Cancellations. Please notify us as soon as possible via WhatsApp or email. We request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

6.2 Late Cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to be present at the agreed location at the appointment time, may be subject to a cancellation or call-out fee, communicated to the Customer at the time of booking.

6.3 TAD Auto Detail Cancellations. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule, we will notify the Customer as soon as reasonably practicable and arrange an alternative appointment at no additional charge.

6.4 Statutory Right to Cancel. If you are a consumer booking our services online, via email, or via WhatsApp, you have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving any reason. However, by booking an appointment scheduled to take place within that 14-day period, you expressly request that services begin during the cancellation period. If you subsequently cancel after we have started or completed the service, you will be liable to pay for the work performed up to the point of cancellation.

7 Quality Standard and Workmanship

7.1 Our Commitment. TAD Auto Detail is committed to delivering professional, high-quality services using premium-grade materials and industry-standard techniques, including bespoke film fitting, wet-fitting methods, and precision application.

7.2 Workmanship Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the result of a service, you must notify us within 48 hours of completion. Where the issue is attributable to our workmanship, we will rectify it at no additional cost.

7.3 Exclusions. The workmanship guarantee does not cover:

  • Damage caused by the Customer or a third party after the service has been completed.
  • Normal wear and tear, including minor scratches or scuffs from everyday use.
  • Pre-existing damage to the vehicle present prior to the service.
  • Damage resulting from improper aftercare (e.g., abrasive cleaning products on PPF or vinyl).
  • Damage caused by pressure washers or jet washes used within 7 days of film or tint installation, or directed at the edges of applied materials.
  • Issues arising from the Customer's failure to provide accurate information about the vehicle's condition at the time of booking.

7.4 Materials Warranty. Where applicable, manufacturer warranties on materials (such as PPF film) are subject to the terms of the respective manufacturer and are not the direct responsibility of TAD Auto Detail beyond the installation workmanship.

8 Customer Responsibilities

The Customer agrees to:

  • Ensure the vehicle is reasonably clean and accessible at the time of the appointment.
  • Provide access to a power supply within 50 metres of the vehicle where required.
  • Inform TAD Auto Detail of any pre-existing damage, modifications, or conditions that may affect the service.
  • Follow any aftercare instructions provided by TAD Auto Detail following the completion of a service.

9 Limitation of Liability

9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TAD Auto Detail's total liability to the Customer shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for that specific service.

9.2 TAD Auto Detail shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of profit, or loss of data.

9.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10 Intellectual Property

All content on the TAD Auto Detail website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of TAD Auto Detail and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

11 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12 Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being published. Your continued use of our services following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
